As WVU Law’s primary social media manager, I engaged daily with thousands of alumni, students, faculty, staff and outside stakeholders on multiple platforms. WVU Law’s social presence grew consistently when I managed it.
I achieved this by creating consistent content that:
1. gave audiences a sense of place to tie themselves to
2. appealed to nostalgia
3. showed key community members
4. helped students see themselves at the law school
I tracked and report social media metrics monthly to portray this growth to WVU Law’s administration - the data showed the highest growth in engagement and followers on Twitter and Instagram.
